The Lost Sierra is located an hour north of the town of Truckee encompassing the south east portion of Plumas National Forest. The Tour will cover Access areas - Rigging - Leader Formulas - Fly Recommendations - Local Inside Knowledge. Leaders, tippets, lunch, drinks, and handouts included. This tour is open to all experience levels for anglers wanting to learn more about the creeks of the Lost Sierra. 4 different creeks (Jamison, Little Jamison, Frazier, Gray Eagle) will be explored, and two separate fishing sessions on Jamsion, and Frazier creeks. The Lost Sierra's terrain is moderate to heavy at times with loose cobblestones, rocky terrain, and slippery conditions. Participating anglers should be acclimated to river conditions, hiking, being stable, and experienced when wading, while covering water, runs, and riffles.
