The Tahoe Truckee Fly Fishers are all about fishing!

We actually get out and fish with each other!

We hold many Groupfish outings throughout the year. Some are day trips, others are multi-day camping trips. Some of us have found great travel partners to further afield to Canada, Mexico, Alaska and many other locations. We schedule everything from backpacking into the Sierra high country to multiple trips to Pyramid Lake.

To facilitate finding a buddy to fish with, we have a Forum called 'Let's Go Fishing'. Post where you are planning to go and meet a club member to fish with!

Our Groupfish outings are open to fly fishers of all levels and the more experienced fishers in the group provide guidance to those less experienced or new to a location. This includes equipment needed to enjoy the river or lake, flies to expect to use, directions and techniques likely to lead to success.

We also partner with local conservation organizations such as Trout Unlimited, The Truckee River Watershed Council, SWEP and the Truckee Donner Land Trust. These organizations take care of our local resources and deserve your support as well.
