About this event

Lost Sierra Fly Guide invites you to join us for a clinic where you'll master the art of reading a river—understanding where to fish, how to fish different sections of water, and why.

This hands-on clinic is divided into two sessions. The morning session features a guided walk with an in-depth presentation on reading water, identifying prime fishing spots, and understanding fish behavior. In the afternoon, we’ll put theory into practice with a group fishing instructional period, applying newly learned techniques on the water.

Bring a 4-6 wt rod with floating line and a variety of flies.

The cost of the Clinic is $155 per person.  Tips to Matt can be made at your discretion.  Once you register, refunds can be made only if your slot is taken by someone else.  We need a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 registered participants for this Clinic.  If the number of registrants is too small, the Clinic will be deferred or cancelled.  If the Clinic fills and we have more interest from our members, we’ll see if we can arrange another Clinic at another time.  Since this is a winter outing, it is weather dependent and if weather conditions are too severe it may be necessary to reschedule.   Thank you for your understanding, and enjoy this learning opportunity on our premier local fishery.   If you have questions about registration, contact me gcater4@gmail.com
