High water tactics are an important tool for those anglers who fish the Truckee River due to the annual spring thaw and snowmelt. Extreme caution is advised when fishing high water and wading too deep is highly discouraged. Don't let high, dirty water discourage you from fishing, learn the techniques to be more proficient durning such times.
